Product Use & Responsibility
•     All products sold by Maine Cedar Log Moose Company LLC are provided on a “use at your own risk” basis.
•     We assume no responsibility for consumer use beyond intended purposes.
•     Our sculptures are designed for display use only.

Outdoor Care & Natural Characteristics
•     Sealing unfinished outdoor log décor with multiple coats of spar urethane or similar products may help prolong its life when exposed to the elements.
•     Checking or cracking may occur across growth rings as the wood dries or seasons. This is a natural process that typically does not affect structural integrity and may enhance the rustic character of the piece.
•     When displayed outdoors without cover, wood products will naturally weather and turn grey.
•     Bark-on log sculptures may shed bark over time if exposed to the elements.
•     With proper care, our cedar log moose and bear sculptures can last for many years outdoors with little to no maintenance.

Material & Inspection
•     We use fresh cedar from the North Woods of Maine.
•     Traditional bark-on moose are not treated; however, each piece of wood and bark is inspected before fabrication.
•     Finished sculptures are inspected for structural soundness before being branded and leaving the workshop.
•     As with any product sourced from the outdoors, there is potential for mold or fungus. Food-grade white vinegar may be used to help eliminate most fungus or mold on wood products.

Environmental & Quarantine Compliance
•     If you live outside of the gypsy moth quarantine area, your moose will be fully inspected for gypsy moths and eggs prior to shipment.
